E. A. Jolly Began Shoe  Repair Work In Port Lavaca

E. A. Jolly, owner and operator of the shoe repair business that bears his name started in the business many years ago in Port Lavaca, Texas.  In April 1927 Mr. Jolly came to Coleman opening one of the most modern, up-to-date shoe repair shops in this section of the country.  He originally located in the Pool building (106 South Concho Street) where he remained for about three years, then moving to the location he now occupies at 211 Concho street, just behind the A & P Grocery (121 West Pecan Street).

Mr. Jolly has always maintained the same quality materials and workmanship at the same fair price to the customer, regardless of the fluctuation in prices of materials.  He features Siberling rubber heels for ladies shoes and High-flex for men.  His wide experience and knowledge of the business along with his superior workmanship places Mr. Jolly out front in the repair business.  A waiting room is provided for the patrons in order that they may relax and be comfortable while having work done.  Sometimes a rush or special work requires a wait of a few minutes but everything is done for the comfort of the customer during that time.

Mrs. Jolly is associated with Mr. Jolly in the business and is thoroughly  capable of doing first class repairing, dyeing and tinting, a line of work that appeals especially to the ladies.  They wish to take this opportunity to thank their customers for their past patronage and invite you to come to them with your shoe problems at any time with the assurance that the customer must be satisfied at any cost.
