| "In 1929, The Crescent Hotel was located at 315 1/2 Commercial Avenue. It was owned by Mrs. Fay Howard, who lived at the hotel. Rooming here were Mrs. Elva Hunt; Miss Mary Rose, both waitresses at the Moss Rose Cafe; and John Ivey. 315 1/2 South Commercial Avenue was the second story of 315 South Commercial Avenue."
