Richard Polk New Anthony Manager
Effective February 1, Richard Polk is the new manager of the local C. R. Anthony Co. store, succeeding Mrs. C. G. Stone, who will continue with the firm as assistant manager and cashier. Mrs. Stone had served as manager since the death of her husband who managed the store for many years.

Polk has resided in Coleman since October 1, 1968, and he has served as assistant manager of the firm since that time. He moved here from Slaton, where he served almost six years as assistant manager of the Anthony store there.

He is a native of Slaton and attended Slaton schools. He and his family reside at 208 East 10th Street. The Polks have two children, Varin, three and one-half, and Randall, two months, and are members of the Catholic Church.
