Contract Let For New Building On Commercial

A contract was let the latter part of last week by Mrs. G. D. Hines to local contractors for the erection of a modern business building on the lot now occupied by the Babe Dunn Cafe.  Work will begin on the new building on or about February 3, and during the balance of the month the restaurant will be closed until March 1st.  The building when completed will be 25 x 65 feet with a brick rear wall and a glass front.  When it is completed, which will require about 30 days, it will be occupied by the Dunn Cafe.  The managers of the cafe contemplate extensive improvements in the interior when the new building is ready for occupancy.  New fixtures will be installed and the seating capacity enlarged.
