County Purchases Downtown Building for Storage Space
In session Friday morning, Coleman County
Commissioners agreed to purchase the Tolar building at Commercial and Liveoak in
order to solve a storage problem.
It was noted that several county
offices in the courthouse, namely District Clerk, County Clerk and Sheriff's
Department, are out of space to store important documents and files. To solve
this problem, the County will purchase a building across the street from the
courthouse for $45,000 and have to do some renovation work on the roof and
inside the structure.
