Local Presbyterians to Erect New Church

The Presbyterian congregation of Coleman will erect a new church, the funds for which are now being pledged.  Members of this congregation erected a new church five years ago - on paper - but west winds and unfavorable weather conditions interfered with the preceedings.  However, the intentions of the congregation were not abandoned and they patiently awaited the time when conditions were more favorable for building.

The plans for the new church are different to those previously submitted and would probide better for the accommadation of Sunday school work.  The new church will cost, complete, between $15,000 and $20,000.00.  The date for the beginning of construction work has not yet been definitely determined.
