Note the Air Dome movie theater, which was a fenced in outdoor screen with seats, used in the summer, when it was too hot for indoor movies.  The following article ran in a issue of the July 1916 Coleman Democrat-Voice newspaper:

HOWELL'S AIRDOME

B. C. Howell, always alert to provide comfort and convenience for his moving-picture patrons, has opened his airdome to the public.  The latest improved machine for airdome pictures has been provided for Howell's open air theater, which should prove a popular summer play house.

"In 1929, John B. Howell, and his wife Sibyl, were residing at 118 West College Avenue.  He was part owner of the Howell Theatres."   (Coleman City Directory, 1929 - Hudspeth.)
