Robinson Peak School is believed to have been the school started by George W. Baker in the early 1880’s, known as Mount View School.  John M. King taught there in 1892.  The list of 1904 shows Robinson Peak (often called Robertson Peak in official records) as District #8.  The 1911 list also shows it to be #8.  In 1911, it was ordered to sell the old building and land known as Robinson Peak School.  In 1917, the old Robinson Peak School plot was sold to R. T. Goodson.
