Funeral services for Lee Roy Hindman, 13, of Coleman, were Wednesday, May 17, in Morelock Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, with Elder Bob Thrower officiating. Interment was in Colony Cemetery in San Saba County. Lee Roy died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, may 14, 1978 when his motorcycle was in collision with a tractor/trailer truck on U. S. Highway 83 near Carrizo Springs. Born February 24, 1965 in Santa Anna, he was a student in Seventh-Day Adventist Church School in Santa Anna. He had lived most of his life in Coleman County, and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was the son of Mrs. Cleo Hindman and the late D. W. Hindman. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Cleo Hindman of Coleman; three sisters, Mrs. Margie Coker of Brownwood, Mrs. Yvonee Nix of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Sandra McGlothlin of Dallas; one brother, Dr. Richard Towerton of Carrizo Springs; and his grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Sutton of Brownwood. Funeral services for Terry Garrett, 23, of Route 1, Coleman were 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in First Baptist Church of Coleman. Rev. Paul Hubbard of Emmanuel Church officiated, assisted by Rev. Jack Skelton, of Voss Baptist Church. Interment was in Coleman City Cemetery. Walker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Garrett died Saturday, May 20, 1978, at approximately 5 a.m., when his pick-up overturned 7 miles north of Coleman. Born November 7, 1954 in Coleman, he was a life resident of Coleman County, and graduated from Mozelle High School. He was married on June 3, 1975 to Vicki Jones in Lubbock. He was employed as a welder for B&C Welding. He is survived by his wife, Mr. Vicki Garrett of Rt. 1; one son, Chad Dewayne Garrett; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Garrett of Cross Plains; one brother, Monte Garrett of Winters; and his grandmothers, Mrs. Ola Terry and Mrs. Carlos McDermett of Goldthwaite. Pallbearers were Terry Max Brown, Chuck Brown, B. C. Fenton, Tim Golson, Daryl Coats, Larry Rose and Mike Ray. Honorary pallbearers were C. Gibson, David Hail and David Bigham. Mrs. Susan Era Lee Feeler, 69, died Monday, May 22, 1978 at 4 a.m. at Happy Havens Nursing Home in Abilene. Funeral Services will be 2 p. m. Wednesday, May 24, in Stevens Memorial Chapel, Rev. Jack Skelton and Rev. Gary Boyd officiating. Interment will be in Talpa Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Coleman, she lived in Coleman County 67 years before moving to Abilene in 1976. She formerly resided at 316 E. Elm Street, Coleman. Born March 18, 1909 in Coleman County, she was the daughter of Burr and Cora Lee Staggs Thomason. On May 8, 1927, she married Aubrey O. Feeler at Benoit. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coleman. Survivors include her husband, Aubrey O. Feeler of Abilene; two sons, Leo Feeler of Abilene and Edward Feeler of Clyde; four daughters, Ila Pearl Whitt of Rock Springs, Wileen Roberts of Abilene, Nita Holtz of Clyde and Hazel Burns of Breckenridge; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Halmon of Coleman and Mrs. Lorene Clark of Coleman; one brother, Roland Thomason of Gouldbusk; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
