Ervin George Tabor, son of Mrs. J. L. Tabor, entered Army March 13, 1945; trained at Camp Hood; left for Pacific Aug. 21, 1945; now stationed with 52nd Signal Battalion with the army of occupation in Korea; holds rank of sergeant.
TALLEY, CECIL E.
Cecil F. Talley, son of F. F. Talley; was inducted into Army Oct. 2, 1943; trained at Fort Sam Houston and Camp Robinson, Ark.; given Meritorious Unit Award and American Theater Campaign Ribbon; held rank of private, first class.
TAYLOR, JOHN ROBERT
John Robert Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Taylor; entered Army Oct. 16, 1942; left for ETO March 23, 1944; participated in invasion of Normandy and Battle of the Bulge; awarded three Bronze Stars; served with 90th Infantry Division; discharged June 29, 1945.
TAYLOR, JOHN W.
John W. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Taylor of Santa Anna; entered Army Jan. 31, 1942; trained at Fort Sill, Okla., Camp Chaffee, Ark., Camp Hood, Camp Bowie and Fort Ord, Calif.; holds rank of staff sergeant.
TEEL, WILLIAM L., JR.
William L. Teel, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Teel, Sr.; entered Army Air Forces in 1939; left for ETO November, 1943; participated in air offensive over Europe; served 19 months overseas, 16 of which he was held German prisoner; awarded Purple heart; ranked as technical sergeant.
TEMPLETON, HOYT PAUL
Hoyt Paul Templeton, son of Mrs. Minnie Templeton; entered Army Air - Forces Sept. 22, 1942; left for ETO Oct. 27, 1943; fought in Rhineland, Ardennes, Central Europe, Northern France and Normandy; served 19 months overseas; discharged Sept. 13, 1945; ranked as staff sergeant.
 
TERRELL, ROBERT N.
Robert N. Terrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Terrell, entered Army May 15, 1942; trained at Fort Knox, Ky.; left for ETO Feb. 6, 1945; fought at Munich; served six months overseas with 20th Armored Division; discharged from service Dec. 19, 1945; held rank of technician, fourth grade.
 
TERRY, RUEL CARLTON
Ruel Carlton Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Terry, entered Navy April, 1942; served as Navy flight instructor at New Orleans, La., and Corpus Christi; awarded Presidential Certificate of Satisfactory Service; held rank of lieutenant; discharged from Naval Air Force Feb. 16, 1946.
 
THOMPSON, CALVIN J.
Calvin J. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Thompson, entered Army Air Forces Oct. 1, 1942; trained at Kearns, Utah; left for Aleutian Islands June 13, 1943; served 28 months overseas; discharged from service Nov. 4, 1945; held rank of corporal.
 
THOMPSON, JAMES MARK
James Mark Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Thompson, entered Army Sept. 8, 1944; trained at Camp Claiborne, La., and Fort Belvoir, Va.; left for Pacific in June, 1945; served with First Cavalry; now stationed in Japan; ranks as staff sergeant.
 
THOMPSON, JOHN THOMAS
John Thomas Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Thompson, entered Army May 8, 1943; left for ETO in May, 1944; fought in France, Rhineland and Central Europe; served 14 months overseas with 94th Medical Gas Treatment unit; discharged Nov. 17, 1945; ranked as corporal.
 
TODD, HARRISON L.
Harrison L. Todd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Todd, entered Navy in 1945; received initial training at San Diego, California; sailed for Pacific area July 1, 1945; served 12 months overseas; discharged in July 1946; ranked as gunner’s mate, third class.
 
TODD, JACK G.
Jack G. Todd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Todd; entered Army July 5, 1944; left f or ETO Dec. 22, 1944; fought in Rhineland; served 18 months overseas with 110th Infantry, 28th Division; awarded one battle star; discharged July 2, 1946; held rank of private, first class.
 
TOMLINSON, JIMMIE C.
Jimmie C. Tomlinson, son of Mrs. Rosa Lee Tomlinson, entered Army Dec. 28, 1944; left for Pacific area Sept. 3, 1945; served 11 months overseas as flight engineer aboard C-47 Aircraft; was discharged Aug. 5, 1946; held rank of private.
 
TOMLINSON, JODIE GRADY
Jodie Grady Tomlinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Tomlinson, entered Army Oct. 11, 1944; left for ETO April 14, 1945; fought in Southern France; served 10 months overseas with 106th Infantry Division; discharged Feb. 6, 1946; held rank of private, first class.
 
TRAYLOR JOHN E.
John F. Traylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Traylor, entered Army Feb. 22, 1943; left for ETO in March, 1944; fought in Northern France; served 10 ½ months overseas; awarded Purple Heart; served with 748th Tank Battalion; discharged March 4, 1946, as corporal.
 
TUNE, EARL GAY
Earl Gay Tune, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Tune, was inducted into the Navy Oct. 7, 1942; sailed overseas and spent 13 months in the Pacific; held rank of petty officer third class; was killed by hit-and-run driver at Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 1, 1943.
 
TUNE, SANFORD B.
Sanford B. Tune, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Tune, entered Army Aug. 30, 1942; left for Pacific March 30, 1943; fought at New Guinea and Luzon; served 25 months overseas attached to Sixth Army Headquarters, Surgeon’s Office; discharged July 17, 1945; ranked as staff sergeant.
 
TURNER, ALLEN E.
Allen E. Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie O. Turner, entered Army April 9, 1942; trained at Fort Bliss; served with Medical Corps at Thomas M. England General Hospital, Atlantic City, New Jersey; discharged Feb. 22, 1946; held rank of sergeant.
 
TURNER, BILLY G.
Billy G. Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie O. Turner, entered Army Aug. 26, 1941; left for ETO Aug. 26, 1943; fought in Western Europe; flew 72 combat missions as pilot of B-26; awarded Air Medal with 13 oak leaf clusters; discharged Nov. 16, 1945, as first lieutenant.
 
TURNER, CARL WARREN
Carl Warren Turner, son of Ernest Turner, entered Army Nov. 5, 1942; trained at Goodfellow Field, and Gulfport, Miss.; left for ETO on Dec. 24, 1943; participated in Italian campaign; served 10 months overseas; awarded Silver Star and Bronze Star; discharged as sergeant.
 
TURNER, MALLIE G.
Mallie G. Turner, son of H. G. Turner, entered the Navy Oct. 5, 1942; trained at Camp Allen, Va., and Camp Parks, Calif.; left for overseas April 27, 1943; fought at Iwo Jima and served in ETO; served 19 months overseas; discharged Dec. 11, 1945; was boatswain’s mate, second class.
 
TURNER, OLLEN
Ollen Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie G. Turner, entered Army in March, 1940; left for ETO in May, 1943; fought in Western Europe; awarded Distinguished Flying Cross, Soldier’s Medal, Air Medal with four clusters and Croix de Guerre; served as lieutenant colonel with Eighth Air Force; now in Germany.
