Odis W. Crosby, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Crosby, was inducted into the Army Nov. 6, 1942; left for Pacific in December, 1942; fought on Attu, Saipan, Making and Okinawa; served 35 months overseas, awarded Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon; attached to Army Engineers: discharged Dec. 21, 1945, as sergeant.
 
CRUM, THOMAS EARL
Thomas Earl Crum, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Crum, entered the United States Navy Aug. 12, 1943; received training at San Diego, Calif., and Corpus Christi, Texas: was attached to Parachute Unit: served as parachute rigger, second class; discharged in June, 1946.
 
CRYE, DELMER G.
Delmer G. Crye, son of A. W. Crye, entered the Army Air Corps March 4, 1942; sent to ETO Aug. 6, 1942; served in air offensive over Normandy, France, Rhineland, Ardennes; overseas 32 months; awarded Distinguished Unit Badge; attached to the Ninth Air Depot Group; was corporal; discharged.
 
CULLINS, ARVEL E.
Arvel E. Cullins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Cullins, entered the Navy Dec. 12, 1943; sent overseas in October, 1944; served in both ETO and Pacific; fought in Philippines, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, battle of East China Sea and others; served aboard USS Bataan; discharged.
 
CUPPS, RACHEL WILLIAM
Rachel William Cupps, son of E. R. Cupps, was inducted into the Navy May 14, 1944; trained at Camp Wallace; left for Pacific Oct. 9, 1944; took part in first carrier raids on Tokyo, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa; served 15 months overseas; awarded three bronze stars; held rank of aviation machinist, third class.
 
CURRIE, HERBERT WIX, JR.
Herbert Wix Currie, Jr., son of Herbert Currie, Sr., entered Naval Air Corps April 13, 1942; received training at various bases in United States before sailing overseas February, 1944 for 19 months’ service; held rank of aviation machinist’s mate, first class; discharged.
 
CURRY, HARRIS W.
Harris W. Curry, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. G. Curry, entered the Army April 10, 1941; sent to ETO Dec. 9, 1942; fought in Rome-Arno and Southern France; 29 months overseas; served with USA Hospital Ship Chateau Thierry: was sergeant; discharged Oct. 18, 1945.
