Comments On Games
"One of the youngest teams...10 Sophomores lettered." Coleman tied for second place in district with Comanche and Brady. Sonora won district but was defeated by Stamford 37 to 15 in bi-district. This year classifications by the UIL was changed, Class B was eliminated; 5 "A" classes (AAAAA, AAAA, AAA, AA, & A) and a Six-man class were set up. Coleman was shifted from AA to AAA, even though there was no school size increase. |
