Something About Sujo  .....

"I went on to Texas Tech after graduation and had lots of fun.  I joined many organizations and participated in several intramural sports.  I worked as a Student Assistant in the Media Relations Office for the Texas Tech Athletic Department.  I graduated with my bachelors in Agricultural Communications in December 1998, completed a teaching certificate in secondary education in May 1999, and then completed a masters in Agricultural Education in August of 2000.  In May of 2000, I joined John Deere Company as a marketing representative and spent the next 12 months traveling the country-side, learning everything and more about every piece of agricultural equipment John Deere makes, and having a great time with about 50 other just graduated marketing reps from all over the U.S.  I left John Deere in May of 2001 to move back to Texas and have settled in Midland, Texas.  I now work for the Midland Convention and Visitors Bureau as the Sales Manager, soon to be Director of Sales and Marketing.  I am single, no kids and live in a four bedroom house with my sister Ricka, stepsister Christi and 4 year old niece Heather.  I am still very close to my family and spend many weekends in Coleman visiting and supporting local events. "I have been told by several classmates that I am the lucky one who gets to try and pull a 10 year reunion together in 2004.  Since I deal with organizing and planning events, I know that although it seems like that is a long ways away, it will be here before we know it and in order to host the kind of reunion I would really like to host, plans need to be worked on now.  So I am going to throw out my thoughts and hope to get some feedback.  I was thinking how cool it would be (since we all hung out in large groups outside of our classmates) that it would be neat to have a multi-year reunion with several classes coming together.  I propose the classes of 1991 through 1997 because that covers our seniors through our freshmen.  With it being our 10-year reunion, I thought that would be kind of cool.  I was thinking that each class could have their own gathering sometime during the day and then that afternoon and into the night we could have a huge bash.  As I said, this is just a brainstorm I had and would like any input at all.  AND I definitely need to start collecting addresses for our classmates. So drop me an email with your address and what is going on in your world. I would love to hear from you!  And of course what you think about what we should do for our 10-year reunion.
               Thanks!
               Go Bluecats!!!!"     (November 2002.)
