Joe Riley Caldwell, age 34, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska.  Funeral service were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24 in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elwood Caldwell officiating and assisted by Rev. John Stanislaw.  Burial followed in the Santa Anna Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Joe Riley Caldwell was born August 3, 1972 in Abilene, Texas, a son of Jim and Linda Riley Caldwell.  He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School in 1990.  He attended Alvin Community College.  On May 21, 1994 he married Wynndi Watson in Angleton.  He lived in Angleton until 2000, moved to Coleman for one year, and to Alaska in 2002.  He was an electrician.

Survivors include his wife, Wynndi Caldwell of Anchorage, Alaska; one son, Trevor Joe Caldwell of Anchorage, Alaska; his parents, Jim and Linda Caldwell of Coleman; one sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Zac Allen of Coleman; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim B. and Kelli Caldwell of Arlington; four nephews and five nieces; aunts and uncles, Joe and Susie Riley of Brownwood, Elwood and Darlene Caldwell of West Columbia; mother-in-law, Sherry Watson of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters-in-law, Mitzi Watson of Brownwood, Tracy Rainer of Eagle River, Alaska.
