"I graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Kinesiology. While
attending Angelo State University, I met my future wife Delma (Fierro)
Childress. She is a 1988 graduate of Ozona High School and an Angelo State
alumni as well. We have 3 boys Michael (14), Marcel (9), and Matthew (7). Our
boys keep us busy with football, baskeball, soccer, and
track. I
have been employed as a Tom Green County Juvenile Probation Officer for the past
eleven years. My career as a Juvenile Probation Officer was special because an
opportunity to positively effect a juvenile's life and way of thinking was put
before me. However, in April of 2007, God presented me with an opportunity to
continue working with young adults in an attempt to make a difference in their
lives. I have been working as a caseworker at the West Texas Boys Ranch since
April 16, 2007. This is a change of pace from probation but the end result is
the same. To positively effect a youth's life and way of thinking along with
advocating for them and doing what is in their best interest." (July 2007.)
