"Married 1992 to Mick Hammond.  Graduate of Angelo State in 1993.  Registered Nurse.  Graduate of the University of Texas with Masters Science - Nurse Practitioner 1995.  I attribute my love for the science field to 2 of my favorite and most influential teachers:  Howard Childress and Barney Popnoe!  I've worked in Cardiology, Critical Care/Internal Medicine specialties and currently practice OB/GYN / Women's Health in Abilene with Stefanie McCain.  Finally decided at age 32, it was time to have kids:  Hannah, born September 2000, and Hayden, born September 2003.  I hope to see you all at the Reunion - October 2006.  Go Bluecats!!"  (August 2006.)
