"I am currently stationed in Germany. I have been in Germany for almost a year now. I am active duty in the U.S. Army, goimg pn eight years now. Fort Lewis, Washington state was my last duty station. I was there from 2001 until 2005. During that time I have been deployed to Iraq. I have been in Iraq twice. I was there for OIF and OEF 1, 2, 2.5, and some of OEF 3. I spent a year in Sinai, Egypt. I have loved all my travel so far, I wouldn't give anything for it. I have got to see many great, awesome and interesting places. I do get to come home time to time. I always wonder about what other classmates are doing and have done. I was just in Coleman this week and got to talk with Matt Gaines. He informed me that the was a class reunion on the 6th of October. Wish I could make it, but I have to fly on that day back to Germany. I hope that everyone has a very nice time." (September 2006.) "I am still here in Germany. I plan on staying here until around late 2008. It's real nice here. I wished I could have been at the reunion and seen everybody. I got to see the picture, it was great. I tell that we all have changed from the years gone by. I tell ya I wouldn't give anything for what I have done and been. It has given me the chance to see other countries and people. It's real intersting to see how other people live. Some of the places I have been, its nothing like the states. We dont realize how good and blessed we are in the states. I am so pround that I am from the USA. Well anyways, I could go on and on about that. I just hope everyone had a very nice time at the reunion." (March 2007.) |
