___________________________________

Please invite your parents, other family members, and non-84 classmates to attend the 2:00 reception on Saturday at Heritage Hall. As we mentioned in a previous e-mail, there will be many others from outside our class who will be coming in that weekend, so we should have a large group join us at Heritage Hall. Also, If you need baby-sitting services for the Friday or Saturday evening events, please let us know and we will help you make arrangements.

The cost of the weekend will be $20 per classmate, which will cover you and as many family members or friends you want to bring with you.  The $20 will offset the cost of our meeting location and refreshments at the Saturday reception.  Lunch at the courthouse will be paid directly to the Junior Rodeo Association.

The Saturday dinner at the rodeo will be catered by the Coleman Rodeo Association.  To provide the Rodeo Association an accurate head count, the dinner tickets must be purchased in advance.  Thanks to Jody Barr and the Rodeo Association, we have given a discount for dinner and tickets to the rodeo.  The cost of the dinner and rodeo is $17 per adult and $13 per child (12 and under).  This price will cover dinner and admission into the rodeo on Saturday night.  Please make your payment out to "The Coleman Rodeo Association" and send it to Jody Barr at 216 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, TexasX 76834.  If you would like to pay for your tickets via credit card, please e-mail Jody at hickmanadv@verizon.net .  Your payment must be received no later than June 1, 2009 for you to be included in the Saturday evening dinner.

The Sunday morning golf scramble will pit members from the Class of 84 versus members of other CHS classes.  The green fees for the scramble will be less than $20 per person.  The golf scramble will also be a fundraiser for Amy Simmons, a Coleman Bluecat who was paralyzed in a car accident several years ago.  You can read Amy's story at www.caringbridge.org/visit/amysimmons.  The scramble will have a "best ball" format, so that good and bad players alike will have a great time.  Even if you do not play golf, it will be fun to "hack" your way around the course or ride around in a golf cart and give the scramble participants a hard time.  As with everything else, spouses, dates, and children are welcome.  Please also note that golf clubs are not a required to play. Since we will be playing in groups, we can share clubs.  So we can organize the scramble, please RSVP with a headcount to either Victor Sanchez or Sandra Sanchez Spake. Victor can be reached at (325) 217-2926 after 6:00 p.m. and Sandra can be reached at sspake@hotmail.com.

John Mark Weatherred is also preparing a slide show for the reunion, so we would greatly appreciate any old photos and current family photos you can send.  The photos can be from any year - just label them with any relevant information.  A DVD of the show will be burned, and copies will be available for everyone.  You can scan and e-mail the photos to John Mark (which he'd prefer) or mail the originals.  If you mail the photos, John Mark will take good care of the them and return them to you during the reunion.  If you can't attend the reunion, please send photos and a DVD will be mailed to you along with any photos you send by mail.  Please contact John Mark at jmweatherred@yahoo.com to make arrangements for sending the photos.  John Mark's address for mailed photos is 2100 W Northwest Hwy, Suite 114-1121, Grapevine, TX 76051.

Finally, we are still looking for contact information for a few classmates.  Please let us know if you have any leads for the following classmates:

Noah Rosales

Mandy Salas

Lynda Ward

Everyone we have talked to has been excited about our class reunion.  We cannot  over-emphasize how much we want everyone to attend - the success of our class reunion depends on you.  June 19th is just around the corner, so please make plans to join us.   We need to have an estimate of those attending, so please let us know if you will be coming no later than May 22, 2009.

We look forward to hearing from you.  If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to call any of the reunion committee members:
