Something About Mark  .....

"I attended Howard Payne and then Baylor receiving two degrees in film and TV production.  I taught for a while at Howard Payne, worked briefly in Lubbock and then returned to Waco.  About the time I decided to pack up and head for LA, I met Heidi Swanger, so I unpacked, stayed in Waco a bit longer, and got married.  Soon after, I landed a job as a TV producer at the Johnson Space Center in Houston where I am today.  Yes, it is the greatest job in the world. I have done everything from training astronauts to producing videos for use in the US Senate and at the UN.  I have shaken hands with the first and the last man on the moon, and I have helped teach science to kids in underpriviliged school districts.  All the way around, it's a fantastic opertunity.  Since Heidi and I moved to Houston we have had two daughters, Daya and Danielle.  They are full of energy and we are very tired.  There is something to be said for having kids early in life instead of waiting 18 years .... Ah well.  God Bless, and e-mail me if you have a moment."   (2002.)

"Divorced since early 2005.  I have three little gilrs, Daya, Dani, and Dara.  I don't get to see enough of them.  Aside from that, life is really, really good.  I live on a yacht (no, I never did learn to swim), I have a phenominal job at Johnson Space Center, and I have no shortage of great friends to spend the after work time with.  I never thought things could be this good.  If you're in the area, look me up.  832-524-7580 is a direct line to me, 24/7.  Hope to hear from you."  (March 2006.)

"Did I say things were great in my previous update?  We'll belive it or not they have gotten much better.  Last year I met a wonderful gal and we are to be married September 29 this year (2007).  Kim and I both work at NASA.  Looking forward to seeing you all in future "rodeo gatherings."  "  (August 2007.)
