watching the games on television as they may get a glimpse of Cara Blackmon,
formerly of Coleman. She is a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. A graduate
of Coleman High School, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Blackmon
of Del Rio, formerly of Coleman. Cara, 26, is a graduate of Texas

Since
1977 the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have appeared throughout the United
States in personal appearances. These number over 200 per year.
They also make many charity appearances in their own community. The
Cheerleaders never stay overnight anywhere without a member of the organizational
staff accompanying them. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders represent
a cross-section of the American female ... teachers, college students,
nursing students, doctorate students, gymnastic coaches, secretaries, grocery
clerks, retail managers, interior designers, medical technologists, receptionists,
computer programmers, commercial artists, dance instructors, management
trainees and housewives. They receive between 500 and 1,000 pieces
of mail per week. Their fans range in age from two to 90."
