Annabelle Cole - 2004

"Since leaving school, I attended two years of college in Brownwood.  I married in 1989 and divorced in 1999.  I have one son,who is my life.  Stanley M. Cole Jr, who is a freshman this year (2005-2006).  Stan is very active in sports and does very well.  His main sport is football which he loves.  He plays middle linebacker and running back and on special teams.  I work for the Coleman Police department where I have been for the last 20 years.  In 2000 I was promoted to supervisor over communications.  All my family is still here in Coleman, my parents Gilbert and Aurora Ramon still live on Pecos street.  My sister Elisa Wren lives in Duluth, Minnesota where she works as an RN.  Elisa has three grown kids and is a grandmother now.  My brother Gilbert Ramon,lives here and works for Texas Dept of Public Saftey.  Gilbert has one daughter.  I plan to retire soon and devote my time to my son's future.  He wants to attend college in Oklahoma (Sonners), jokingly I tell him that if he does that I'll have to move to the border between Texas and Oklahoma ... and he says to me, "Well at least you'll get out of Coleman."
