Teresa Beckham - 2004

Something About Teresa  .....

"Lived in Dallas until 1997 then moved to Round Rock (Austin suburb).  Married Ben Beckham in 1992; had a daughter, Arden, in 1994; had son, Weston, in 1996.  I am a stay at home mom (love it!) but also have my own home based business.  We love the Austin area and will probably stay here for good.  My brother, Jeff (1980) is a Certified Nurse Anesthestist in Brownwood.  He has 2 daughters and is doing great.  I really am sad that I've lost touch with so many of my friends from High School.  Our lives go in such different directions sometimes but I would LOVE to hear from any of you.  Camille, Belinda, Debbie, D'Ann - please contact me.  Let's connect again ..." (May 2001.)

"I received a BA in Advertising at Texas Tech University in 1983.  Spent the next 9 years as a single professional in sales in Dallas until 1992 when I married my husband, Ben Beckham (we met at work).  We bought a home in Flower Mound (when there was NOTHING there!)  I quit working when we had our daughter, Arden, in 1994.  We had our son, Weston, in 1996.  Ben took a job with GE Medical Systems which moved us to the Austin, Texas area (Round Rock) and have been here since then.  Ben left GE the next year and went back to the industry he had been in before selling dental implants and bone grafting materials and has since become the Western Regional Sales Manager for Lifecore Biomedical.  I'm still a stay at home Mom loving the time I have with my kids who are now 4 and 6.  I spend a lot of time at my daughters school volunteering.  I also teach Spanish to Kindergardeners and First Graders.  I've also started a home-based  business with PartyLite Gifts, Inc., selling high quality candles and beautiful candle accessories through home parties.  I'm leading my own team of candle consultants, making GREAT money, and LOVING my new career as a "Candle Lady."  Do you love candles?  I rarely get back to Coleman and was sorry that we didn't have a 20th reunion.  I would be VERY HAPPY to help plan a 25th.  I went to the Rodeo last year and will try to be there again in 2001.  I think about High School occasionally and am sorry that I've lost touch with so many people."  (June 2001.)

"I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom since my first child, my daughter, Arden, was born in 1996.  She is a 5th grader this year.  I also have a son, Weston, who is in 2nd grade.  I spend most of my time being a mom and doing stuff with and for the kids and I also substitute teach at the elementary level.  I have an awesome husband, Ben, who is also a great dad.  In my old age, I have discovered a gift from God of oil painting.  I haven't started selling any of my work, yet, but plan to do so soon.  My family is the most important thing to me next to my relationship with Jesus.  I'm truly a lucky and blessed person."   (September 2004.)
