Something About Me: "I am in my 24th year as an educator with the Coleman ISD. I am in my 17th year as principal of Coleman High School. I am currently working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University." (2003) "Graduated from Texas Tech University in 1977 with a degree in Spanish and History. Begin teaching in Coleman at Coleman High School in 1978 - 1979. Taught for 5 years (Spanish, English, World History). Received a MA from Hardin - Simmons University in counseling. Junior High Principal in Coleman for two years and was the Coleman High School principal for 18 years in Coleman. Along the way, I received certification in mid-management and superintendency for Sul Ross University. Named superintendent of Coleman ISD and officially took that position on June 1, 2004. I still live on the family ranch and help Dad with these interests as needed. I am currently working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University." (June 2004.) |
