Something About Me: "After graduating from Coleman High School in 1973, I went to college at Angelo State University. I graduated from ASU in 1977 with a BS in elementary education and special education. My first teaching job was in Rankin, Texas, teaching special education and first grade. I taught there 6 years. While in Rankin, I met my husband, James Owens and we married in 1982. I moved from Rankin to the Owens Ranch that is between Iraan and Ozona. In 1987, our son, Dawson, was born. I have been a teacher for 22 years. I have taught at Rankin Elementary, Iraan Junior High, Sheffield Elementary and Iraan Elementary." (June 2004.) |
