"After graduation, attended Tarleton State University and Sul Ross University.  Taught Vocational Agriculture at Seminole High School for 6 years, then went to work for Texas Farm Bureau.  I have been the agency manager of Gaines County Farm Bureau for the past 25 years. 
I have a son, Jody, age 28 who lives in Abilene and a daughter, Torie, age 22, who lives in Glen Rose.  I have two grandchildren ... Jody's daughter, Andie, age 2 and Torie's son, Gage, age 1.   I am married to Julie."   (December 2005.)
