Former Bluecat athlete, Aaron (Hank) Bourland, has received a baseball scholarship at West Texas State University at Canyon, where he is a sophomore student.  In his freshman season, Bourland played for the Buffalo baseball team on a non-scholarship basis, and for his sparkling play was awarded the scholarship this season.  He plays catcher-outfield positions.  In his high school days here, Bourland lettered in football, basketball and track.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bourland of this city and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Plante of Abilene.
