Something About Pat  .....

"After a couple of tours in Thailand with the USAF, I moved to Austin where I worked at a Chrysler dealership so that I would have a place to work on my cars.  When the new cars got boring I moved to South Texas to work in the oil field.  I had the pleasure of doing several jobs but the best time I ever had was working with my brother, Mike.  We designed and built drill bits that set six published world records for drilling performance.  We drilled from the North Sea, all over Texas, in Mexico and all the way down to Peru.  Don't ever go to Peru unless you have fifteen or twenty pounds you want to give to an ameba.  I've been married for a long time and have two daughters who swear that they aren't as much trouble as the rest of the girls around here.  They are smart and beautiful, so I believe them.  My wife and I worked together in the oil field as mud loggers for a while.  We drilled wells all over the King Ranch and loved being out there in the woods for days at a time.  Rosanne is a lot smarter than her hanging around would make you think."  (August 2002.)

"At the present time I am working on developing a more user friendly electric vehicle to help us reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.  The first step is to develop the MT Innovations electric vehicle power system.  After that we will need new and sustainable electric power supplies.  The only way to produce all of the electric power that we and our children's children will need is to capture it from the atmosphere.  Our atmosphere is so electrically charged that just about every thing on the planet has a negative or positive charge.  When we get serious about cleaning up the air we breath and reducing our use of fossil fuels we will start to capture the lightning that flashes across our sky in great abundance.  Such a technical challenge will create millions of jobs and boost our economic power on this planet to new heights."  (October 2006.)
