Something About Me: "Since my family moved from Coleman in 1962, I actually graduated from high school in Lovington New Mexico. I attended Eastern New Mexico University in the evenings and married one of my classmates, Russell Harrison. The son of one of my high school teachers, I had met him earlier while dating his younger brother (don't worry, it all turned out ok). Russ went into the Navy in 1966, and we moved to Charleston, South Carolina where our oldest son, Stephen, was born. When Russ was released we moved back to Lovington, where our youngest son, James, was born. Our oldest son is now single and has no children. Our yougest son, James, is divorced, but he is the father of my 3 grandchildren. He's career Air Force. I have lived in many places, but since Russ and I divorced, I have lived in Odessa where my family resides. After working in banks for almost 15 years, in 1992 went to work for A. G. Edwards & Sons, where I am the manager's assistant. I love the people and the excitement of it all. I'm really looking forward to the reunion in June to renew old friendships. Although I graduated from Lovington High School, Coleman has and will always be home. Would love to hear from anyone." (2001) |
