Connie Welch - 1964

Connie Sue Welch McMullen, age 52, of Fort Worth (formerly of Coleman), died Sunday, November 15, 1998.  A memorial service will be held at 10 a. m. this morning (Tuesday), at River Oaks Baptist Church, Fort Worth.  Greenwood Funeral Home of Fort Worth was in charge of arrangements.

Born January 10, 1946 in Coleman, she worked 24 years for The Brants Company and was an Administrative Assistant.  She was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with children.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Clifford Welch.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Norton and husband, Jimmy of Fort Worth; her mother, Merle Wech of Coleman; a brother, R. B. Babbitt and wife JoAnn of Ozona; a sister, Mary Briggs and husband Jay W. of Coleman; a grandchild, James Norton III of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews.
