Something About Me: "After Leaving Coleman in 1964 I went to Sam Houston for one year and moved to Houston for about 9 months and then when into the US Army and server 18 monthss in Vietnam and 11 Germany. I then returned to Texas in 1969 and went to work in banking until October of 1984, when I went to Washington DC as CEO of the Political Action Committee till August of 1989 and then I returned to Granbury, Texas and opened the Rainbow Trading Company. I also worked for the state of Texas for 3 years, and then went back into banking for the last 7 years. I joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 1969 and have served in several elected office at the Post, District, State, and National level. I have served in the Lions Clubs in Farmers Branch and Granbury and have served in several Elected Offices there as well. I also worked with the Farmers Branch, Carollton, and Addison Chamber of Commerce for some 6 years." (2001) |
