I moved to Coleman in 1954, making boots with my dad, W. L. "Tex" Robin, attending CHS for 2 1/2 years before enlisting in the Army. I was never around when they took pictures for the annual, and was never included in the annual. I went home early to help dad in the boot shop most of the time. I got out of the army in 1960 and returned to Coleman and eventually took over the boot shop, operating it in Coleman until a few years ago, when I moved the shop to Abilene at 2081 Sayles Avenue. |
