Melba Baugh, Longtime CCSB Employee, Retiring Friday 

Melba Baugh who will be retiring from the banking business on Friday, November 29, 2002, after 31 years of service to Coleman County State Bank, will be honored with a retirement reception that morning, from 10 to 12 noon, in the bank lobby.

Melba began her career with the bank in 1971.  She was promoted to Assistant Cashier in 1980, and to Assistant Vice President in 1990.  She served on the American Institute of Banking Board for two years, receiving the outstanding AIB Award in 1982.

She has been a Sunday School teacher at Elm Street Church of Christ for 30 years and is currently a volunteer in the Mentor program a Coleman Elementary School.  She and her husband Johnny, have traveled to Lithuania the last two summers, doing mission work which they hope to do again in the future.
Other plans include spending more time with the grandchildren, traveling and being active in church work.  Melba and Johnny have four children: Tim Baugh of Midland, Terry Baugh of Breckenridge, Tammy Smith of Coleman and Tina Hensley of Coleman; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
