Gerrye
Hill, age 67, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006
at 10:27 a.m. at her residence in Brownwood. Services will be
Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion.
Interment will follow under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of
Santa Anna.
She was
born Geraldine Havner on March 22, 1939 in Coleman County, Texas to the
late Ottis Lee and Floy May Dillard Havner. Gerrye was raised in
Coleman moving to Brownwood in 1954 where she graduated from Brownwood
High School in 1957. She was a member of the First Nazarene
Church of Brownwood and had been employed with General Telephone for 31
years.
Survivors
include a son, Marc and wife Anne Hill of Early, Texas; three sisters,
Ruby and husband Charles Hosch of Santa Anna, Texas, Nelda and husband
Bob Davis of Santa Anna, Texas, and Freda and husband Dale Purcell of
Bangs, Texas; and two granddaughters.
Gerrye
was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
