Something About Me: "The worst day of my life was when I had to move from Coleman in 1955. I missed my classmates very much. I went to the reunion in 1987 and was so happy to see everyone. I graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville. I married while in college and had two chilren. I was divorced in 1965. Moved back to Kerrville to be with my mother as she was not in good health at the time. I have held various jobs in the intervening years in the legal, medical, real estate and land surveying fields. I am now married to Mike Huffman (who incidently was my boyfried in Kerrville in 1956). We have a surveying business in Houston (and really want to retire real soon). I am very anxious to attend another reunion. I would like to add that my husband attended the reunion in 1987 with me and was most impressed with the comraderie of my class. He graduated from a smaller school than ours and says his class was not anywhere as close as we all seemed to be. He was as impressed with the careers and the lives that you my classmates had made for yourselves. I was as proud as punch to hear this (It made my head swell). I would be delighted for anyone to give me a call or write and let me know about you." (2001.) |
