Jerry Alvin "Pops" Hagler, 65

Mr. Jerry Alvin "Pops" Hagler, age 65 of Dumas, Texas died April 10, 2001  Services will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, April 13, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Dumas with Rev. John Wagoner pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas under direction of Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mr. Hagler was born February 6, 1936 in Coleman.  He married Carolyn Monroe February 10, 1956 also in Coleman and had lived in Dumas since 1964.  He was a volunteer for Babe Ruth, past president of Dumas League, retired from Diamond Shamrock as an operator after 32 years and was a former longtime Coleman resident.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Dumas; two sons, Lance Hagler of West Point, Virginia and Tracy Hagler of Amarillo; two daughters, Sherri and Mike Perkins and Christy and Kerry Garrison all of Dumas; two brothers, Glenn Hagler of Coleman and Jimmy Hagler of Clyde; and one sister, Nelda Hunter of Putnam.  Three granddaughters, Alysa Perkins, Krystle Perkins and Kelsey Garrison all of Dumas also survive.
