Something About Elaine ..... "I was employed by the County of Pecos, Fort Stockton, Texas for almost 28 years. During my tenure with the county I worked in the Adult and Juvenile Department and in 1975 I was appointed by the Commissioners Court as the Veterans County Service Officer. I retired December 31, 1998 at which time my husband, Walter and I moved to Lampasas. My husband passed away February 20, 2004. Our grandson and his wife Melissa have a 6 year old son, Brayden, and I take him to school and keep him after school until his parents get home from work. I volunteer at the school 2 days a week helping children who have problems with their reading." (May 2007.) |
