Doris Brown graduated early with the Class of 1953, after being with the class of 1954 through most of high school.
Something About Doris ..... "I retired June 2001 from Brownsville Independent School District where I was a 5th and 6th grade teacher and the last ten years as an elementary school librarian at R. L. Martin Elementary School. My days are now spent reading -- mainly mysteries, writing letters, surfing the Internet, working on genealogy, and watching FOX News. Recently I became a great-grandmother - September 2004 -- so I hope to spend some time holding a new baby girl. I graduated a year early with the class of 1953 instead of my class of 1954. I would love to hear from any former West Ward students, CHS students, friends, and band members. I did play the French horn all the way through college, and I still miss band very much."
