CHS Class of 1950
1988 Class Reunion
September 2 and 3, 1988

The years slip by after high school days - The friends we knew go their seperate ways.

A name or a face you’ll sometimes remember, And you’ll wonder “what happened to her?”

You will promise yourself you’ll keep in touch.  But seems the time it would take is just too much.

Then one day a letter comes addressed to you.  A reunion is planned and there’s lots to do!!

The class of 48, 49, 50 and 51 - oh my!  How great that would be I think with a sigh.

So at last in 1988 we will all meet again.  Name tags and pictures are pinned on with a grin.

There’s laughing and talking as we all gather.  There’s hugging and kissing as we see each other.

Can these be the same kids I once knew - Who so proudly wore the White and Blue!!

It’s a gala affair and much, much more.  As we whirl to old tunes on the dance floor.

A full day of fun and reminiscing - See all the years we’ve been missing.

Then it’s midnight - time for it all to end.  We say goodbye to friend after friend.

It’s been so great to see everyone - Those special classes of 48, 49, 50 and 51.
