WALKER CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS
The Walker Cemetery is located about five miles northeast of Coleman on Texas State Highway 206 then about .3 miles north in the edge of a field on what is now the Henry Dodson place. At one time, a county dirt road ran on the north side on this cemetery. The cemetery originated on what was originally the Walker place, when the creek was too high to cross for a burial in Coleman.
The cemetery is heavily overgrown with brambles and weeds, as well as many small and large trees, one of which has been used as a deer blind. It is fenced with barbed wire.
