I had updated some of the information, but now depend on others by using the FindAGrave.com website.
Each cemetery listed below has a link to its FindAGrave listing.

Atoka Cemetery is located about three miles west of Novice on FM 1770, then one-half mile north at a fork in a dirt road. The dirt road runs along the south side of the cemetery.

Atoka is a well kept cemetery, with a chain link fence on the south and east sides, and a barbed wire and net fence on the north and west. A main gate is on the south side. There are several roads running through the cemetery, which have been ignored in this reading. Some rows are very crooked or out of line. Due to the reading by rows, some family lots have been separated. Reading was begun at the northeast corner.

There are also several unmarked graves in a field near the old John Gillason house about one-half mile west of Atoka. These graves probably pre-date Atoka Cemetery.
