ANDERSON CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS
Anderson cemetery is located about one-half mile south of Rough Creek Cemetery to the west of a dirt road on land that once belonged to Henry Taylor. It is said that the road runs over part of the old graves. There is also a private road that divides the cemetery. The part north of this road was fenced until recently, when the fence was taken down and the entire cemetery fenced as part of a pasture. There are dozens of unknown graves, marked with rocks or unmarked. The cemetery is overgrown with cactus, mesquite, and brush. There is a rock wall around one grave. On the south side, the Farmer graves are surrounded by a tumbled down rock wall. There was an iron fence around some other graves, which has recently been removed.
It is said there are also some unmarked graves near the railroad overpass to the north.
