The American Cleaners, one of Coleman’s most modern plants has long
been recognized as being capable of producing satisfactory work.
A special service is rendered in the cleaning and restoring the shape,
size and finish to all felt hats. The American Cleaners is the only
plant in Coleman County that does dying and tinting on all types of garments,
including Celanese silks.
T. C. Hart, owner of the American Cleaners, started in
the business in 1915. In 1917, Mr. Hart went into business in Toyah,
Texas, enjoying a good business through the five years that he remained
there. Later, in 1933, Mr. Hart moved to Stamford, Texas, establishing
a cleaning business there. Having a keen foresight in the future
Mr. Hart saw the possibility of the success in his line of work in some
other locality. He chose Coleman as his next home and in 1933 he
moved here buying the present plant that has prospered and shown an increase
since the day it was opened. This was made possible only through
the confidence shown by the people in his work. Mr. Hart is proud
of this record and wishes to thank the support and looks forward to a friendly
service for you in the future.
The process of cleaning used by the American Cleaners
is a special one that results in giving the customers a standard grade
of work on all garments at any time. The cleaning fluid is regularly
filtered to eliminate any dirt, grease or foreign matter that may in any
way harm the garment. Each finished job that leaves the plant is
personally inspected by Mr. Hart to be sure that nothing has been left
undone. The alteration and tailoring department offers a service
equaled by few. All the newest fabrics, patterns and styles are featured
in S. H. Churchill tailored-to-measure clothes. Mr. Hart has many
satisfied customers that look forward with anticipation of being thoroughly
satisfied in any selection they make. A free pick-up and delivery
service is maintained for the convenience of the customer. Regardless
of how difficult the job may seem just call 30, The American Cleaners,
and leave the rest to them. |
