There were approximately 135 people who attended, being classes from the years 1959 through 1967. The reunion was dedicated to Joe and Dottie Simpson who attended along with their children "Little" Joey and Sherry. Joey Simpson told Joe as they were driving home that night "that was the most loving group of people that he had ever seen, everybody just hugging on each other and letting their emotions be seen." Dottie's reply to that was "that is the way the Bronte people are." Other special guests attending were former teachers, Diane Luckett, C. B. and Wanda Barbee, Clint Lowe, J. T. and Sybil Henry, John Hartsell and wife, Pat, and Mary Frances Glenn, former school secretary. Gale Mackey Sartain and a member from each of the classes were in charge of the event. Additional photo showed the class of 1964 including: Ray Sissom, Judy Lee, Charles Coppock, Weldon Broussard, Lynda Taylor, Shirley Caulder, Glenn Sims, Gale Mackey, Barry Curlee, Marilyn Glenn, Jeanna Denman, Elaine Glenn, Jan Wilkins, Georgia Owens and Jimmy Wells.
