Mrs. P. G. Dabney, Mrs. Delos Alsup, Mrs. Frank Youree and Mrs. W. W. Youngblood gave the second part of the book on India. A delicious salad plate was served to Mesdames Will Whiteside, I. T. Huckabee, J. W. Leach, George Martin, Charles Ragsdale, and the ones on program and the hostess. The next meeting will be with Mrs. T. A. Carlisle. ***** Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Chew are proud parents of an 11 pound boy Sunday May 14, 1939. ***** Everyone is smiling over the good rains that Blackwell has received. ***** Miss Nora Bell Corley of Abilene, Leo Corley of Oklahoma, and Olin Corley of Greenville, were home for Mother's Day. ***** Martha Dale Reynolds of Dumas is visiting her grandparents Dr. and Mrs. J.
