SCOTT

Mrs. M. A. Scott Honored with Birthday Party

The home of Mrs. Noah Pruitt, Jr., was the scene of a surprise birthday 
celebration honoring Mrs. Margaret Ann Scott last Saturday afternoon 
from 2:30 until 5 pm. Mrs. Walter Scott and Mrs. Leroy Deppe were hostesses.

Mrs. Scott, who was 76 years old, had no idea that there was to be any kind 
of celebration until she was taken to Mrs. Pruitt's home.  For entertainment, 
the group played several games and the honoree was presented with numerous 
gifts.
 
Thirty guests were served punch and birthday cake. The cake was decorated in 
pink and white and the number 76 was written out with candles.  Peppermint 
stick candy was given as favors.

Mrs. Scott received many gifts from friends unable to attend.
