Joe Ed Scott - Sells Butane, Pipe, Etc
. 
The Scott Butane Company was started in 1956 by the present owners, 
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Edward Scott.  It is located downtown on the Robert Lee 
highway.  Mrs. Scott is the former Wilma Roberts of Robert Lee. He is 
the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lee Scott.
 
In addition to handling butane and propane, the firm also sells pipe 
and fittings and other plumbing fixtures, and air conditioner parts 
and pads.
 
The Scotts have four children: Brenda, 16; Merritt, 14; Dewitt, 9; and 
Viva, 7.  Their nephew, Eddie Clark, 15, is also living with them.
