Mr. and Mrs. Fred McDonald Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Aug. 10, 1949

Bronte - Mr. and Mrs. Fred McDonald, Sr., observed fifty years of married 
life on Wednesday, with an anniversary supper with their four children present.    
The McDonalds were married on married August 10, 1899, in Coke County. 
Mrs. McDonald is the former Katherine Robinson.

The McDonalds have been engaged in farming, ranching and the gin business 
and other activities since their marriage.
 
Attending the anniversary supper were Mr. and Mrs. Fred McDonald, Jr., and 
family and Mrs. 0. V. Looney and her family, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. McDonald, Sr., 
and family and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. McDonald, Jr., and son, all of San Angelo; 
Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Rawlings and family, A. J. Rawlings and Mr. and Mrs. 
McDonald.   W. C. McDonald, Sr., W. D. McDonald,, Jr., and his small son 
represented four generations of McDonalds present for the celebration.
