The Robert Lee Observer, Coke County, TX - Date unknown, about 1973

The Robert Lee Observer (Summer 1973) had an article accompanied by a photo
of the Jail Marker Dedication. This is a listing of the names of the 
people in the picture.  (The picture is not included.)


At Jail Marker Dedication - 

Descendants of old timers who were in Robert Lee for the dedication of the 
historical marker several weeks ago are, from left:
 
Mrs. Carlos Rabb (former Ruby Clawson); 
Carlos Rabb, grandson of Judge P. D. Coulson; 
Stephen Rabb, son of Paul Rabb, grandson of Thurman Rabb and 
     great-great-grandson of Judge Coulson; 
Paul "Skippy" Rabb, son of Thurman Rabb and great grandson of Judge Coulson; 
Bill Calvert, grandson-in-law of Sheriff L. B Murray; 
Truman Rabb, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Rabb and grandson of Judge Coulson; 
Bill Barnett, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Barnett and grandson of Sheriff Murray; 
Mrs. Bill (Lois Barnett) Calvert, granddaughter of Sheriff Murray; 
Miss Juanita Barger, daughter of the late Precinct 3 commissioner C. M. Barger;  
Mrs. R. B. Allen, daughter of the late Precinct 4 Commissioner S. W. Gaston; 
Mrs. Bob (Thelma Allen) Odom, grand-daughter of Commissioner Gaston; 
Mrs. J. C. (Flora Gaston) Coleman, daughter of Commissioner Gaston; 
Sam Gaston, son of commissioner Gaston.
