Mrs. Ed Hickman to Be Honored

Mrs. Ed Hickman, of Robert Lee, will be honored with an early celebration 
of her ninetieth birthday on Saturday, July 7, at the Recreation Hall 
in Robert Lee.

The occasion will be hosted by the honoree's children and grand-children 
from 2 until 5 p.m.  All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Mrs. Hickman, the former Malindy Herron, will be 90 years old on August 9, 
but since the annual family reunion is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 
July 7 and 8, it was decided to have an early birthday celebration along 
with the regular family gathering.
 
Helping their mother receive guests at the open house will be Mrs. Hickman's 
seven children: Mrs. Ruth Sandusky and Mrs. Robert (Bill) Foreman of Bronte, 
Mrs. Oscar (Georgia) Higginbotham and Mrs. Hadley (Lee) Richards of Robert Lee, 
Ed Hickman of Killeen, Johnny Hickman of Big Lake and Fred (Pete) Hickman 
of Ft. Stockton.

Mrs. Hickman also has 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 
great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
