HARRIS ARRIVES Dr. John R. Harris, new director of the Karen-Gayl Hospital in Bronte, which is expected to be opened this month, arrived in Bronte last Tuesday, and is already finding himself busy with patients. A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Harris received his B. S. degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, and his M. D. from Baylor University. Hospital work has been performed at the Robert B. Green Hospital in San Antonio, as well as the Medical Arts and the St. Pauls Hospitals in Dallas, and Memorial Hospital in Houston. Dr. Harris served as medical officer with the 348th Mobile Surgical team during the war, where he saw service in the Pacific area.
